Product Manager - Payment Services

Our client Samsung is a globally recognised and highly respected brand within the electronics industry. This position reports to the Head of Data and Solutions and is based at their Sydney Olympic Park office. The role follows a hybrid working model, requiring four days in the office and one day working from home.

About the Role:
The Payment Services Operations Manager will oversee the Samsung market operations - subscription, sell-out & payment platforms. This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless platform functionality, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement to enhance customer experience and achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical acumen, analytical skills, and project management expertise, with a proven track record in platform operations within a subscription-based, payment or e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:


Platform Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our subscription, payment and sell-out platforms, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Monitor health, identify and resolve technical/logistics issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent disruptions.
  •  Run basic financial modelling to ensure programs remain profitable & new initiatives viable
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Track KPIs and metrics to ensure the health and effectiveness of the subscription/sell-out platforms & payment solutions.
  • Analyse data to identify opportunities for process optimization and revenue growth.
Project Management:
  • Manage project timelines and resources to ensure successful project delivery. 
  • Collaborate with teams across the organisation including sales, marketing, finance, legal, and procurement to ensure seamless integration of payment & subscription services
About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Understanding of payment systems and product management fundamentals 
  • At least 3- 5 years of experience in sell-out/subscription platform operations, payment provider and preferably within a subscription-based or e-commerce environment.
