- Senior HR Business Partner
- 5 days onsite based in Ultimo
- Upto $60 per hour
As a Senior HR Business Partner you will be responsible for a diverse employee group of 250 people. Your main role is to coach, guide and support the staff and engage with stakeholders. Someone who is a natural nurturer and mature would work well in this position for this well known, iconic site.
Key responsibilities:
- HR guidance and tailored solutions by partnering with managers and employees to address both current workforce needs and future priorities.
- Lead and contribute to HR initiatives that enhance systems, ensure legislative compliance, and respond to evolving organisational challenges.
- Deliver data-driven insights and reporting to support decision-making, improve HR practices, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, offering expert advice, coaching, and support aligned with business goals and culture.
- Support and develop HR Business Partners, while managing sensitive issues with discretion and balancing daily operations with emerging priorities.
Skills and Experience:
- Must have experience working within local government to be considered for this role
- Extensive HR expertise across the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, organisational development, and change management.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to organisational goals and provide strategic advice to senior leaders.
- Proven experience in managing complex employee matters, interpreting legislation and industrial instruments, and navigating sensitive workplace issues with discretion and sound judgment.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships and driving people initiatives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
