Team Leader – Contact CentreLocation: Wellington | Type: Contract (until early October) | Rate: $80–$90 per hourWe’re looking for an experienced Contact Centre Team Leader to step into a short-term contract role with a well-regarded public infrastructure agency. This position provides leadership and day-to-day support to a busy, digitally enabled contact centre team during the initial phase of a major technology upgrade.The role will be hands-on, managing a small team that handles both customer enquiries (approx. 20% inbound calls) and a wide range of backend service and reporting tasks. This includes updating job records, tracking performance data, and maintaining KPIs. Your ability to lead and motivate staff while ensuring operational consistency will be key.Key responsibilities:Day-to-day leadership of a contact centre team during a period of changeOversight of service delivery, including accurate data entry and KPI monitoringSupporting team performance and ensuring smooth workflow during the technology upgrade phaseAbout you:Proven experience leading a contact centre or service delivery teamComfortable with technical environments and a range of digital systemsFamiliarity with tools such as Zendesk, Maximo, GIS, Argus, SilverStripe, and Tableau is an advantageConfident communicator with a calm, organised leadership styleThis is an excellent opportunity to take on a rewarding leadership role through to early October, with a competitive hourly rate and a great team environment.
