About The Role:
Reporting to the Division Leader, the storeperson is responsible for providing support to the warehouse operations within the Service Centre division by ensuring stock are received in good condition and daily priority orders are dispatched to customers on time.
The role is divided into but not limited to the following key responsibility areas:
1. Receive and Dispatch of Goods:
- Check incoming goods to ensure quality assurance
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders in a timely manner
- Load and unload goods using forklift
- Check and monitor stock levels and replenish stock on shelves to maintain adequate stock levels
- Inform leader when stock runs low
- Conduct regular stock take to ensure current stock level is up to date
- Assist with ensuring safety and cleanliness of the warehouse
- Recommend improvement to current processes
- Willingness to work overtime as required
- Assist with any other administrative tasks as required by the Division Leader
About You:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer knowledge
- Punctual and reliable
- Forklift License is desired but not essential
- Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
