Accounts Officer
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Officer to join a project based organisation passionate about driving sustainability and clean energy. You will be integral to the smooth flow of month-end processes, system improvements and the trading of renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Bank reconciliations, monthly reporting and payment runs
- Generation of purchase orders, invoices. RCTIs and expense claim approvals
- Assisting with month-end and financial reports
- Supporting weekly trades and monthly power purchase agreements with AEMO, landowners and joint venture partners
- Providing support to internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting in the testing, implementation and improvement of finance processes and systems
- Coordination of travel bookings and ad hoc
About you
- 2+ years of experience in a similar Accounts role
- Strong Accounts Payable, Receivable and reconciliations experience
- Comfortable working with large systems eg SAP, Xero, Concur and Netsuite
- High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in project based industries eg construction, mining and oil
