Administrator - Luxury Sales

People2people are recruiting for a prestigious London-based design brand, renowned for creating exquisite handcrafted pieces. This company is seeking a talented and highly organised Sales Administrator to join their expanding team. Our client’s collections are showcased in luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial projects across the globe, in collaboration with leading interior designers, architects, and private clients.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless sales process, from handling initial enquiries through to delivery and aftercare. Working closely with the sales, production, and leadership teams, you will take ownership of the administrative side of high-value, bespoke orders for an international clientele.

While specific product experience is not essential, a background in interiors, furniture, or other luxury design sectors is highly advantageous. This is not a creative or design role, it is best suited to someone who thrives on operational excellence and enjoys enabling others to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete sales administration cycle, including quotations, proformas, invoicing, and order progress tracking
  • Process bespoke and made-to-order product requests with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Coordinate between clients, production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Maintain CRM and order management systems, ensuring data integrity
  • Monitor lead times, production schedules, and shipping arrangements
  • Prepare regular sales and pipeline reports for management
  • Provide first-class client communication and service, reflecting the standards of a luxury brand
  • Support trade events, client presentations, and internal sales meetings as required
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across the sales function
Candidate Profile
  • Proven and strong experience working as a sales administrator or sales operations assistant
  • Background in luxury interiors, furniture, textiles, or similar high-end design industries (lighting experience not essential)
  • Proven track record managing complex orders and multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of production lead times, order fulfilment, and supply chain processes
  • Skilled in CRM and invoicing software; strong Excel skills required (Adobe Suite beneficial)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting multiple deadlines
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently and collaboratively
  • A genuine interest in design, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service
What’s on Offer
  • Friendly, close-knit team environment
  • Opportunity to contribute to a respected and growing luxury brand with global reach
  • Exposure to unique design projects and influential clients
  • Private healthcare and pension scheme
