Field Service Engineer 

Start Date: Immediate (target 19th September)
Contract: Temporary 6–12 months, with opportunity for ongoing placement
Hours: 37.5 per week, flexible standard hours

The Role
A global manufacturing company is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a small, hands-on team in Perth on a new project. This role combines field service work (site visits, troubleshooting, and repairs) with office-based responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards, working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
The role requires a professional, customer-focused individual who can communicate clearly with end-users and take initiative. Occasional travel outside the Perth metro area may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, and troubleshoot technical equipment.
  • Provide clear communication when handing over repairs or maintenance.
  • Conduct service visits independently while supporting the wider team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and compliance standards.
Candidate Profile
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a technical or engineering role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team environment.
  • Eligible to work in Australia (Working Holiday Visa holders considered).
