We are partnering with a highly regarded global law firm that located in Melbourne CBD. With over a decade of operations in Australia, the firm is renowned for its expertise in insurance law and commercial litigation, and is consistently recognised across all jurisdictions as a leading adviser.
THE ROLE
An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join the firm’s successful and growing Insurance team, supporting a Partner and a group of approachable, high performing lawyers. Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing large volumes of correspondence and documentation
- Diary and calendar management, including coordinating meetings and tracking deadlines
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders in person and over the phone
- Preparing court documents and filing via RedCrest
- Monthly billing and general file management

ABOUT YOU
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant, ideally within a litigation or defendant insurance team
- A proactive and organised approach to work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working independently
