People & Culture Advisor

People2people are partnering with a well-established and fast-growing organisation known for its strong culture of service, purpose and advocacy. Their People and Culture team are looking for an experienced People and Culture Advisor for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, to provide expert guidance and delivery of human resources and industrial relation services to support the company's people and business goals. 
 
Role  
As the People and Culture Advisor. Your responsibilities would include but not be limited to:  
- Provide expert HR and IR advice across all levels of the organisation on detailed employment matters, policies, enterprise agreements, legislative compliance and a key contact for staff issues 
- Lead people and culture initiatives, recruitment, talent management, learning and development, WHS, employee engagement and organisational developmental programs.  
- Manage and support HR operations and projects, supervising the People and Culture Coordinator, overseeing policy development, risk management and enterprise bargaining. 
- Implement continuous improvement and enhance HR systems, processes and employee experience through innovation, training programs and change initiatives  
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and promote a positive and inclusive workplace environment.  
 
About you  
- A degree with at least 4 years of experience in HR management and/or industrial relations, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. 
-  Demonstrates a strong knowledge in HR functions, trends, and their impact on organisational success. 
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and meeting deadlines. 
- Experienced in team leadership, capable of managing sensitive issues and developing effective policy and training programs.  
- Proficient in HR technology/ platforms (Technology One) and committed to upholding workplace principles including anti-discrimination, EEO, WHS, anti-bullying, and cultural diversity.
