Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
This broad, hands-on People & Culture Business Partner role offers the best of both worlds — generalist variety with a strong Learning & Development focus (around 30% of your time). Working closely with the General Manager P&C and a P&C Coordinator, you’ll deliver across all core HR functions while shaping capability, culture, and engagement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with leaders to deliver on P&C strategy and provide trusted advice across ER, OD, change, and talent management.
  • Leading and embedding L&D programs such as U2Me and career pathways initiatives.
  • Supporting recruitment and workforce planning processes.
  • Coaching leaders to drive consistency and confidence in people practices.
  • Contributing to transformation, culture, and engagement projects.
Mōu | About you
You’re an experienced HR generalist who thrives in a fast-moving, people-centric environment. Known for your structure and pragmatism, you enjoy variety, autonomy, and visibility — and you’re ready to make a tangible impact.
You’ll bring:
  • Solid HR generalist experience and sound knowledge of NZ employment law.
  • Confidence in L&D design, delivery, or coordination.
  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • A collaborative, direct, and down-to-earth communication style.
