Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Mascot, NSW
Type: Full-time, 12-Month Contract
Industry: Manufacturing / Electrical

Are you a proactive supply chain professional with strong ERP experience and a sharp eye for process detail? This is an excellent opportunity to join a global manufacturing business where you’ll manage purchasing, supplier relationships, and stock coordination to keep operations running seamlessly.
You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure materials are ordered, delivered, and processed efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring solid purchasing and SAP experience, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end purchasing including raising and managing purchase orders through SAP.
  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Track and monitor inbound shipments to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries.
  • Maintain data accuracy within ERP and ensure purchasing activities align with supply plans.
  • Manage supplier relationships and proactively resolve supply or quality issues.
  • Work with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to align material availability with business needs.
  • Assist with inventory analysis and reporting on slow-moving or critical items.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain processes.
Skills & Experience
  • MUST have previous experience in similar roles or purchasing, supply chain, or procurement within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong SAP experience and understanding of end-to-end purchase order workflows.
  • Proven ability to prioritise daily tasks and manage multiple moving parts with accuracy.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement or process enhancement activities is advantageous.
  • MUST have FULL-TIME and UNRESTRICTED WORKING RIGHTS.
