Accounts Officer
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Officer to join a project based organisation passionate about driving sustainability and clean energy. You will be integral to the smooth flow of month-end processes, system improvements and the trading of renewable energy.
 
Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
• Bank reconciliations, monthly reporting and payment runs
• Generation of purchase orders, invoices. RCTIs and expense claim approvals
• Assisting with month-end and financial reports
• Supporting weekly trades and monthly power purchase agreements with AEMO, landowners and joint venture partners
• Providing support to internal and external stakeholders
• Assisting in the testing, implementation and improvement of finance processes and systems
• Coordination of travel bookings and ad hoc

• 2+ years of experience in a similar Accounts role
• Strong Accounts Payable, Receivable and reconciliations experience
• Comfortable working with large systems eg SAP, Xero, Concur and Netsuite
• High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in project based industries eg construction, mining and oil
