Channel Demand Planner

About the Role:
The Channel Demand Planner is a key role that works closely with Sales, Retail Key Accounts, Order Desk, Logistics, Product, and other partners to build consensus and establish accurate account-level sales forecasts. The Channel Demand Planner is responsible for demand planning through trend analysis, gap analysis, review of historical sales performance, inventory levels, promotional plans, and market intelligence, all presented in a clear and compelling manner. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proper product allocation for timely order fulfilment in line with agreed account sales forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor inbound inventory and support allocations across accounts and regions.
  • Identify and report issues or gaps to account managers and conduct root cause analysis for resolution.
  • Track and analyse KPIs including sales, ageing, forecast accuracy, inventory management, and weeks of supply.
  • Use Samsung internal systems to monitor historical sales trends and inventory levels to provide Sell-Thru and Sell-In forecasts.
  • Prepare weekly and daily supply chain management reports to support leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Recommend best practices related to SCM processes and policies, applying continuous improvement methods, including process automation where applicable.
About You:
  • Ideally 4-5 years’ experience in demand analysis, forecasting, or supply chain operations.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred.
