Charter Consultant – Queanbeyan NSW (Maturnity leave cover)
We are seeking a motivated and customer focused Charter Consultant
to join the charter team based in Queanbeyan. This role has a strong customer service focus and requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
- Work closely with the Charter Manager and broader team to coordinate bookings
- Manage customer enquiries and follow up on requests
- Enter bookings into the company’s software system daily
- Prepare and send quotes, plan routes, and ensure smooth bus charter operations
- Provide outstanding phone-based customer service
- Utilise Microsoft Outlook and Excel proficiently to manage tasks and communication
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a phone-based environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel essential)
- Previous experience in administration, scheduling, or customer service preferred
- Reliable, organised, and adaptable
- Location: Queanbeyan (supporting regional NSW charters)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
- Pay:$33–$35 per hour
- Start: Immediate start available
- Contract: Maternity leave cover with potential to extend
