The Opportunity

This is a key hire for the East London office, with an urgent need for an experienced Mixed Tax Manager to join the team. You will play a vital role in managing a diverse client portfolio, overseeing compliance work, and mentoring junior staff. This role offers excellent career prospects and the chance to become a central figure in a growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own portfolio of clients, with support from tax seniors and juniors.
• Preparing and reviewing a wide range of tax returns, including corporation tax, personal tax, P11D, and ATED returns.
• Handling advisory work for your portfolio, including responding to client queries.
• Liaising directly with HMRC to manage and resolve inquiries.
• Mentoring and training junior members of the tax team.
• Contributing to team management and process improvement.

• A proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and delegate effectively.
• Strong experience in both personal and corporate tax is essential.
• Relevant qualifications such as CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA are preferred, but qualified-by-experience (QBE) candidates will be considered.
• You must be a highly effective communicator, with a client-focused attitude.
• You should be comfortable finalising work for partner and client approval.
