Please note, this role is only suitable for candidates who have previous experience of working within an Architectural Practice and can show examples of this in their portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to residential planning applications, including outline and reserved matters submissions
- Support with architectural drawings using AUTOCAD (proficiency is required)
- Assist in rendering and visual presentation of schemes
- Work closely with senior team members
- Collaborate within a supportive, design-focused team
- Previous experience in a UK-based architectural role
- Strong understanding of residential layout design is highly desirable
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp
- Experience or interest in rendering and visualisation is highly desirable
- Knowledge of UK planning processes (outline/reserved matters applications)
- A team player with strong design sensibility and willingness to learn
- Able to commute to the office 3/4 days per week (ideal locations: Reading, Oxford, or nearby – excellent rail links)
