Customer Relations Officer

  • 3 month fixed term contract with scope for permanency

About the organisation
people2people have partnered with a progressive community focused organisation who pride themselves on creating supportive and strong community. They are currently looking to expand their Contact Centre team and seeking a dedicated Customer Relations Officer for 3 month fixed term contract with scope for permanency.

About the role
This busy, inhouse contact centre is the first port of call for enquiries from new customers. Reporting to the Contact Centre Team Leader, responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering a seamless customer experience from first enquiry to final outcome
  • Handle inbound enquiries via phone with professionalism and care
  • Making outbound calls to engage leads and convert them into appointments
  • Provide expert guidance and exceptional support to prospective residents
  • Keep Salesforce up to date with accurate lead and customer information
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and collaboration
About You
This role would suit a motivated, people-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves turning enquiries into meaningful connections.
You will have:
  • Previous Contact Centre / Customer Relations / Service experience
  • Strong customer centric approach with an understanding of sales and converting leads to appointments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and build rapport at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High level of computer literacy – MS Office, Salesforce is highly advantageous
  • Experience in age care / retirement living / community focused industry is highly desirable
  • Tech savvy, quick to pick up systems
  • A current (or willing to obtain) national police check
