The role overview
I am looking for a talented and dedicated accountant looking for an exciting opportunity to grow their career within a public practice firm based in Strathfield. Reporting to the Principal accountant, you will play a key role with providing services to your portfolio of clients both local and corporate.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform a range of accounting tasks, including but not limited to bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations.
  • Assist with tax planning, preparation, and compliance for individuals and businesses.
  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.
  • Provide exceptional client service and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate previous experience as per the following:
  • Proficient in both Cantonese and Mandarin speaking desirable
  • Bachelor's degree within Accounting
  • CPA or part qualified desirable
  • 1-2 years in public practice experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Handiledgers, Xero and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytic skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
