A leading global food production and distribution company is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead the people function at its processing facility, located in the Adelaide Hills. The Role
Reporting to the National HR Lead, this site-based leadership role offers the chance to shape the employee experience and drive strategic HR initiatives. You’ll lead a small team and collaborate closely with operational leaders to foster a high-performance culture and support continuous improvement.
This is more than a compliance focused HR role, it’s an opportunity to influence culture, guide change, and build capability across the workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor small HR team, ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals
- Partner with site leadership to embed a culture of accountability, engagement, and performance
- Provide strategic support on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning
- Drive adoption of HR systems and streamline processes for efficiency and transparency
- Oversee policy development and ensure compliance with employment legislation and enterprise agreements
- Champion change initiatives and support leaders through transformation efforts
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally within manufacturing, logistics, or food production
- Strong working knowledge of industrial relations frameworks and enterprise agreement interpretation
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change and foster continuous improvement
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Sound judgement, time management, and decision-making capability
