Import/Export Coordinator

Job Title: Import & Export Coordinator (Temp – 6–12 Months)
Location: Lindfield
Hours: Full-time, 9:00–5:00 (Flex), Monday–Friday

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Import & Export Coordinator to join a fast-paced, high-volume supply chain team. This role is critical for managing national and international shipments, clearing backlogs, and ensuring products move efficiently from suppliers to warehouse and customers.
This is a 6–12 month contract, starting ASAP in January. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure shipments arrive on time, documentation is accurate, and processes continuously improve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end import and export operations, with emphasis on imports
  • Prepare and maintain import documentation, costings, and freight coordination
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (Sales, Inventory, Finance) and external partners (suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers)
  • Monitor shipping schedules, container arrivals, and warehouse delivery timelines
  • Ensure compliance with customs, regulatory and safety requirements
  • Support forecasting, inventory management, and S&OP processes
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Provide hands-on support in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, hitting the ground running
What We Are Looking For:
  • Proven import and export experience, managing high-volume shipments and multiple suppliers
  • Strong ERP/SAP experience for purchase orders, goods receipting, invoicing, and master data maintenance
  • Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and proactively identify improvements
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Full-Time and Unrestricted Working Rights for Australia
