Key Account Manager | $85K + Super + Incentives | VIC (North/West Focus)
Are you a relationship driven sales professional with experience in building materials, plumbing, or construction? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family owned business with a premium product range and a strong presence across Australia and New Zealand.
As the Key Account Manager, you’ll manage and grow a portfolio of independent retailers, architects, builders, and showrooms across Melbourne’s North and western suburbs. Reporting to the National Key Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving sales, strengthening client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of key merchant accounts
- Conduct regular client visits and maintain a structured call cycle
- Present product information and deliver training sessions
- Generate new business opportunities and add commercial value
- Monitor and improve showroom and retail displays
- Follow up on quotes and sales enquiries
- Strengthen relationships with decision-makers at store and branch level
- Represent the company at trade events and showroom meetings
- Collaborate with internal teams (customer service, marketing, logistic
About You
- Proven experience in B2B sales or account management
- Background in plumbing, construction, or building materials preferred
- Strong relationship builder with a consultative sales approach
- Melbourne based (ideally North/West) for territory access
- Comfortable with travel and updating in store displays
- Competitive salary + super + up to $30K in annual incentives
- Fully maintained RAV4 company vehicle + petrol card + tolls
