NOW HIRING: MACHINE OPERATORS
Location:
Smeaton Grange
Pay Rate:$35.34 – $49.48 per hour
Work Days:
Monday to Saturday (Wednesdays OFF)
Shifts Available:
- Morning Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Please note: Prior experience operating Vertical Form Fill Seal machines is essential for this role.
Requirements:
- Must have valid Australian work rights
- Must be available for flexible shifts across Monday to Saturday
- Reliable transport to and from work (a valid driver's license is preferred)
- Select and load appropriate packing film for products
- Set up and program VFFS machines for new production runs
- Perform film changes and product bin adjustments as needed
- Clean and maintain weigh heads, hoppers, and conveyors
- Assemble Ishida weigh head components and perform routine maintenance
- Monitor weight, gas, and seal levels throughout shifts
- Update machine programs and date codes when required
- Conduct daily washdowns of machinery and surrounding work areas
- Manage and empty product bins into tippers as needed
- Complete all production paperwork accurately and on time
