We are seeking an organised, personable, and highly capable Project Manager/ Client Liaison to oversee live refurbishment and decoration projects and act as the primary point of contact for clients. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional client experience from project initiation through to completion, ensuring clarity, communication, and professionalism at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main day-to-day contact for clients, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and valued.
- Build strong, positive relationships with homeowners, commercial clients, and stakeholders.
- Manage expectations and communicate project progress clearly and consistently.
- Take ownership of live projects, ensuring they run smoothly and in line with agreed timelines and objectives.
- Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Monitor project milestones and proactively address any issues or delays.
- Manage client-driven changes and variations throughout the project.
- Ensure all variations are documented, costed, approved, and communicated accurately to all relevant parties.
- Advise clients on implications to timelines and budgets where required.
- Liaise with construction and technical teams to translate client needs into actionable tasks.
- Attend site visits where necessary to check progress and ensure project quality and standards are maintained.
- Ensure clear and effective communication across all teams involved in the project.
- Remain calm, solution-focused, and professional when managing high workloads or tight deadlines.
- Multi-task across several projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Deliver a consistently high-quality client experience, even in challenging or fast-moving situations.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role, ideally with some form of project management, within construction, refurbishment, interiors, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of how refurbishment or construction projects operate.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to a range of clients and situations.
- Proven ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks, and juggle multiple ongoing projects.
- Highly organised, proactive, and confident in making decisions.
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and client-focused at all times.
