People2people are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant for a temporary assignment with a respected organisation in the agricultural supply industry. In this role, you will work independently within a modern warehouse environment, managing a variety of tasks including picking, packing, and dispatching goods. Flexibility with start and finish times is available for the right candidate, and you’ll enjoy being part of a supportive team while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and assemble kits and orders accurately
- Receive, store, and dispatch goods in a timely manner
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping and safety standards
- Identify hazards and follow correct procedures
- Operate forklift
- Ability to work autonomously with strong initiative
- Ability to carry out Manuel handling duties such as lifting, bending, reaching, and stretching
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in warehousing or similar roles
- Current LF fokrlift license is essential
- Interest in technology and electronics is a bonus
